Something Lovely Happened to me Today...

So today something happened that restored my faith in the human kind.

Here's the story short and snappy:
A friend and I caught the train back to the university we're at, only a 12 minute journey and there were no double seats only single ones available so we stood up which was fine.
A small man that was sat about 4 rows away came towards us, he had trouble walking so used a stick. It was obviously quite hard for him to walk any distance. He came to us and said 'Take the seats take the seats'. Of course we said no because of his condition and we were utterly stunned but he refused and walked on through the train to find another seat.
We went to sat down and just couldn't believe what a lovely man he was. In his condition to give up a seat so 2 girls could sit together.

It honestly warmed my heart and made me feel so happy, nothing as lovely as that has happened to me in some time.

We caught up with him once the train stopped and said thank you once again.

It makes me sad that so many of the older generation talks about the younger generation as if we're awful people who commit crimes and don't respect anyone. I give respect happily, but only to those who deserve it. If an older woman shoves past me but expects me to move out of her way because she is my elder she does not gain respect from me. But this man did and I wish I knew his name so I could publish it to all and know how lovely he was.

Anyway I hope that wasn't boring but it warmed the cockles of me 'art. hahaa

Extensions Extensions Extensions...

Is it just me? I think I am, and always have been obsessed with them. It's just crazy how you can change the way you look in a short time, and with clip-ins, you can choose what you want to look like and change it up day to day, hour to hour!

So I used to have such long hair, even then I wore the occasional pieces of hair just to add volume and colour.
Then when my hair was a medium length I got them to make it super long.
And now I have short hair I've had some and cut them to blend, they aren't long but they make such a huge difference!

But basically I'm sick of my short hair, I've had enough and I don't feel feminine with such short hair :/



I had some Rapunzel Rapunzel hair extensions lying around from ages ago, I think I got 2 packs to get the right colour and never sent the lightest blonde ones back, so I dyed them twice (Nice'n'Easy 116A btw) and tbh, they aren't the best quality extensions, regardless of the hair dye, the other ones I used last year weren't great either.

I really want to buy the micro-beads ones (like these)

 and do it myself, to look as natural as poss, but I'm not too happy about the price of it all :/ plus if you pay a professional to do it, they charge hundreds and it isn't really that hard.

YSL ROUGE VOLUPTÉ

Hello everyone!
So I thought this product NEEDED me to blog about it, it is just so amazing, I am in love :D

But seriously, this lipstick is the creamy-est, glossy-est, most lovely-est product I think I own.

Yes it is ridiculously expensive, I think I got mine for £22, but back then I had 25% off at John Lewis so it was £16.50 and I honestly would pay that much for this item.
I only have one of these for kinda obvious reasons haha.




As you can see, mine is in shade 9 but when I went on the website it didn't look anything like what I have, if you go on YSL website, I think my one is number 8, bit confusing I know.






The colour is quite bright so be prepared, it's nothing crazy but definitely not subtle! It's not fushia but it is a bright pink, here I have a photo of it on my lips...









Altogether I would say go out and buy this product as a luxury, maybe even for Christmas? And unless you are loaded, don't wear it everyday, enjoy it for every now and then :)

So last night, I created a monster....


Yep, I know, just call me Frankenstein! (Frankenstein is the doctor not the monster, remember?!)
I haven't posted on here in a ridiculous amount of time and thought this would make an interesting post!

So basically a mini step-by-step would be:
1. Paint face blue
2. Paint nose white
3. Apply eye shadow to eyes
4. Contour nose and face
5. Line eyes
6. Apply dark blue/black lines from corners of face inwards (not the whole way)
7. Apply white dots (and gems if you have them) around lines
8. Put eye shadow on lips
9. DONE!

Of course this list looks easier said than done as it took me a loooong time since I have no experience in avatar making, but here are the products I used...





The palette is 'Bad Girl' from sleek, I love sleek palettes as they are soo cheap and it means that if you have lots, what ever look you want to do, you probably have the perfect colour for it!

Afterwards we went around the uni jumping up on people through their windows if they were on the bottom floor, seriously funny stuff, I will definitely upload what we found to YouTube as we recorded some of it!

Review: Benefit High Beam

Ok so this is one of my all-time top products!
Benefit High Beam has been in my collection for about a year now and I love it for applying lightly to the cheekbones and brow bone, your face will look dewy, flawless and youthful.
The only problem is the price, I believe it now retails for £18.50 *gasps* good god! I hope I never need to repurchase...Which is my next point. This piece of magic lasts FOREVER! So brill!
The application is swift and easy, apply last and do not powder! Otherwise the dewy-ness will be lost (forverrrrrrr), maybe a lil OTT there...

No7 Exceptional Definition Mascara

Hey everyone! So this is my first review and I've decided I want to start making a productive blog!

So this is a new mascara that has come onto the market recently, retailing at £12. No7 is a relatively expensive 'drug store' brand but many would argue its worth it. Personally I bought it with a £5 off voucher and recieved a free eyeshadow quad which definately swayed my decision to purchase the item!

Now to the reviewing part, it certainly is exceptional definition (ED) in my opinion. If used correctly the brush has exactly the desired effect. If you're looking for volume then turn away now because this is not your mascara! ED produces elongated, seperated and defined lashes. The brush structure alllows literally every eyelash (big or small) to be coated in a fine and even layer of blackest black mascara.

So all in all I think this product is brilliant! But only if it's the type of mascara you are looking for.

Oh Sundays...

Well went to a party last night, which was eventful!!! :S
And then had to work at 12 til 4:15, so i got home, ate dinner and somehow its now 6:30!! where has the time gone? i need it to come back cause i have a lot of work to do!!!
Anyway I had a three day weekend and it was really nice :) school tomorrow :| Need to work on my school since I really am retarded... according to my AS results anyway!
